PokéSurvivor Beginner Guide: Your First Run

Keep moving, level one useful attack and learn how your active slot works.

Game snapshot · Oct 13, 2026Reviewed source · a9b21f091dMethodology

Start safely

Open the official game, enter as a guest or use its account options, complete the personality quiz and accept or change your partner. In the inspected implementation, guests do not save progress when leaving. Use an account and check the Settings account status for persistence. This Lab does not run the game or store your game account.

The first minutes

Use WASD or arrow keys to move. Attacks fire automatically from the active slot. Collect experience, select level-up cards and keep space between you and the horde. On touch devices, drag to move and tap a bottom attack slot to switch. The official README recommends landscape play on mobile.

Get a real power spike

Instead of learning four unrelated attacks immediately, max a damaging move and collect its matching evolution stat card. Select the gold card when offered. Use 1–4 to switch attacks, Q/E to cycle, and P or Esc to pause.

Read the map

Water slows movement and lava damages characters. Walls and trees block hostile shots. Stay by a locked chest to open it, and use healing springs when needed. A rift is a timed optional arena; losing it does not necessarily end the outer run.

Between runs

Spend coins on the partner you intend to keep using; upgrades apply per Pokémon. Claim completed mission rewards; achievement rewards are granted automatically, then spend earned tickets in the regional gacha. Protect the intact browser profile before clearing storage; no export button was verified in this source. At minute 30, the invincible Arceus Judgment encounter replaces ordinary survival.
